The price of the 750 is such a bargain my goodness. Aston just came out yesterday with the Valhalla finally. The starting price, not including options, is $800k. WOW. After options, tax, etc this thing is in the $1 mil price range easy. The Revuelto is another example, starting price $608k. Most are going for $750-800k range currently.

Starting price of a coupe 750, $340k. And the 750 is light years ahead of a Revuelto in terms of handling, is faster than a Revuelto, is literally 1,200 lbs more than a 750, track performance runs circles around it, everyday usability, no hybrid battery bull crap, Gen 3 “magic” suspension. The 750 is the KING hands down the best new vehicle bang for the buck $$ supercar you can buy this day in age.

People are going to look back at the 720, 750, and 765 as some of the best all around, if not the best ”overall“ supercars ever made. I’ve talked with many people who are now snatching up a 720, 750, or 765 and are going to be keeping them in their collections forever. They don’t want the heavy hybrid supercars of the future.

10-20 years from now, high spec, great condition 7 series Mclarens are going to be extremely sought after collector vehicles.

I think all this is true of every model they've produced so far. Somehow they keep churning out cars that piss all over the competition but at a competitive price point. At some point it's going to dawn on the market.

I couldn’t agree more. Even more so now that CYVN Holdings in the UAE owns them. CYVN certainly recognized what we are all saying about the products McLaren builds. They did their research and are investing billions to make billions more.

In the past, McLaren has done what they’ve done by occasionally just barely holding things together financially. Remember when they had to sell their HQ building and some of their trophy cars just to stay afloat???

Now that the financials are solid, they can really bear down on getting even better and churning out even more superior supercars. Doesn’t seem possible, but their CF monocoque, aero and all the technology that results in crazy driveability makes the sky the limit for McLaren.

Just arrived at a doctor appointment and decided to take the 750s spider. I am convinced the lower gears and RPM range in the 750 are just there to get the driver to the smoother sailing and incredible performance in the upper range of the 750.

Next time you drive yours, slow down a bit on the freeway, downshift and punch the accelerator.

If you don’t feel what all of us do when those inputs go into the 750…you better check your pulse.

It's kind of funny/sad hearing the same experiences with Porsche dealers taking the piss on customers wanting to buy their cars. I went through the same thing and they genuinely don't care about most people unless you buy/sell several cars a year from them. Even that didn't guarantee me a 3RS I could spec. So they don't want my business at all then. That's fine.

I like 911s in general and Porsche GT models are definitely great cars The NA 4.0 is just not all that it's hyped up to be, especially its performance. The 4.0 had its day and now it's just meh to me, except for the 9k rev exhaust note in which case, I prefer the V10 notes anyday. There are enough enthusiasts willing to pay $100k+ ADM for the GT3RS and I don't think Porsche will have a problem selling them. I don't play ADM games either! They'll hold their value and probably will appreciate but I don't consider cars as an investment unless you get into uber high end exotics/classics. I'm not in that exclusive camp.😊 We'll always have a Porsche in the garage and I'll probably get into a 911 when I'm older and my back feels worse; they are comfortable performance vehicles. For now, McLaren has my attention. The 750S is definitely on a whole different level than any Porsche out there today, IMHO. The new GT2RS will be interesting with a hefty ADM. No thanks!

There is a pattern here where we have all made a pivot of sorts away from Stuttgart to Woking. 100% agree with NuMac that Porsche will always have a place in my garage as well. But the driven cars for me all-in have been 98% McLaren over the last 2 years with the Artura and the 750.

I just got my Artura back from the dealer after they performed the 20 HP upgrade. I noticed on the receipt that a lot more software got upgraded than just the HP. Can’t wait for the weather to improve just a bit for me to test it out.

Something tells me 690 HP is going to feel real nice, but the true comparison is how close it comes to the feel of the 740 HP in my 750…!

I wish it was! I prefer the driving dynamics on track over the super series, but to my eye it's just not exciting to look at.
I personally like the looks of the Artura. I wish I had room in my garage to own one. I mentioned a car lift to my wife the other day and I got the evil look.😀 Artura would look even better with a wing!
