So a friend of mine for his 50th birthday wanted to do a week long rally with 20 of his closest car friends. We started the rally in LA, rented out Willow Springs for the day, and as soon as we were done at Willow, hauled a$$ straight to Vegas from the track. We then spent the next 5 days in Vegas driving trophy trucks in the desert, going on crazy fun drives in all of our cars, went clay bird shooting, go cart racing, amazing dinners, bought two old cop car Crown Vics and beat the crap our of them in the middle of the desert, etc.
I decided this would be a good trip to break in the 750 with. Over the last two months of ownership I have only put 130 miles on it. And compared to the 765, figured it would be the better choice for the week in terms of comfort. The only downside was figuring out what clothes to bring all week since I can't wear any cottons or denim in my Alaskan White leather Senna seats lol.

Let's start at Willow Springs, we had big willow rented out all to ourselves. The 750 is UNBELIEVABLE around big willow. Throughout the day, I did the most laps by far out of all the cars. Probably close to 25-30 laps, and very hard laps at that. Tires I was running were regular P-Zeros. I wanted to run some Trofeo's or R888's but we had a full week of driving ahead of us, so needed a tire that would last all week. I knew I was not going to be able to attack fully on P-Zeros, but got a few 1:22 lap times in there. Which is quite hard to do on regular P-Zero's! My goodness the 750 is fast, was hitting 170-175 mph at the end of the big straight before braking. Call me crazy, but I feel the 750 can put down identical, if not faster lap times than my 765LT. I wish my 765 was there at the same time so I could compere lap times. The 750 is a dream around a track, totally blew me away.
Also, the 750 held up amazing reliability wise. There was a GT3rs that blew its motor, and the F12 has a wiring harness fail. Incase anybody is wondering what a 991.2 GT3RS motor costs, his quote was $90k for the motor and $20k for install. And the F12 wiring harness quote was $27k for the harness and $20k for the install. The 750 didn't skip a beat and was flawless after 25-30 hard laps.
We then filled up, and hit the road straight from the track to Vegas. All of us were still very pumped up from the track, so we got to Vegas rather quickly as you could imagine haha. We rolled in on fumes and stayed at the Wynn/Encore all week. The rest of the week was so much fun. In total, I got just about 900 miles put on the car in a 6 day period. The 750 is so good it's hard to explain. Everyone on the rally was blown away by the car. Two of the GT3rs owners are in the works to buy 750's as we speak after seeing mine perform all week. MSO did such a good job on my car. Everyone was freaking out on the spec and how good it turned out.
Long story short, I thought the 765 was an amazing car, and it is. but the 750 in my opinion takes the crown. It's hard to explain just how good it really is. Its just as fast as the 765, shifts just as good, sounds just as good, rides 100 times smoother in comfort mode, Its build better, my goodness I could go on and on about this car. It's a keeper for me. Talk about a sendoff for the last 7 series Mclaren, it is UNREAL!!
