750 is just awesome. No other way to say it. Sure there are cars that will come that have more power. But the 750 will go down as one of the GOATS.
The entire 7-series should qualify for GOAT status. We won’t be able to buy cars new like this again.

Just curious if anyone here cross shopped their 750S vs 296? I drove a 296 on track recently and was thoroughly impressed. Not just the power but also the handling. Felt light like a McLaren finally. I have not driven a 750S yet, but will soon (on track), looking forward to the comparison.
i drove 296gtb on track and own 750s.
the biggest difference is gearing. 750s has a shorter gearing that makes a difference on track.

the lack of center navi screen using carplay and the buttons on 296 was enough to sway towards 750s.

IMO if a performance car has an electric drive train it should be AWD and have vector steering. It's too early to buy electric in a performance car.

Just picked up the 750S last Thursday and done about 500km so far. It's simply a great car, glides through sweepers along Sea-to-Sky Highway here in BC like a dream. Sounds better than my previous 720s in Japan as well (especially in sport and track power modes), and couldn't be happier that I pulled the trigger and ordered one.

For those who might be interested in getting the P1 bucket seat, I got the touring version, and it's about 14 inches wide at the hip. I am about 6'3", 190lb, 34' waist, and it fits me just right. No pinch on the sides but if I were 10lbs heavier it might start pinching at the hip. However, I found the seat's lumber support to be a bit off for my body, so I am using a memory foam cushion for my back (Elmara Doctor-Designed Car Seat Cushions for Driving – Car Seat Back Support, Driver Seat Cushion and Back Cushion for Car, Pillow for Driving Seat – The Ultimate Comfort Solution for Cars (Grey) : Amazon.ca: Automotive), and after today's 80 or so mile drive up toward Squamish and back, my back felt wonderful and it's definitely a keeper for me. I am not using the seat cushion and only the back cushion, and it fits the P1 touring seat perfectly. Overall it's a lot more comfortable seat for me personally than the comfort seat I had on the 720s.

Anyhow, hope everyone will have a wonderful summer and many happy miles behind the wheels. Go out and drive!!

I love that drive up to Whistler. I find my Ferrari 488 Spider more comfortable. Although, the 750S takes performance to another level. I also have the P1 seats, not sure if they are the wider touring variety. The 750S is definitely alot of car for the $. On the other coast in Nova Scotia:

How much head room do you have top up? Where does your vision settle with top down? Does the top of the windshield block your view?

You spelled Huracan wrong LOL. You have amazing visibility out of any McLaren. I am 6'2" 200 LBS and have enough room for a helmet and still have 2" above my head. in both spiders I've owned.

I have about 2+ inches of headroom (I also have the electrochromic roof). The top of the windshield doesn't block my view with roof up or down. My P1 seat is set to the lowest point with standard tilt angle. Forward or surrounding line of sight when driving doesn't create any issues for me.

As a side note, my previous 720s coupe without glass roof while driving with helmet was okay as well in terms of headroom, and I had the comfort seat set to lowest point. I also did one session as a passenger in the 750s spider back in Japan with glass roof with helmet on, and it was okay as well in terms of headroom (with P1 seat).

Do you find the electrochromic roof, specifically in the spider, useful, or like something to show people to make them go "wow" but its not applicable usually because top is always down etc
