So 1 year in, Honda are really letting the side down badly. It's costing McLaren tens of millions of £££'s, both companies brands are being tarnished (especially Honda).
So next year, two things may happen...either Honda up their game and provide a competitive power unit...or they fail to deliver and McLaren languish at the back of the grid for another year.
This video from Eddie Jordan got me thinking - I wonder if the team has considered a plan B - making their own engine? They do it for their road cars via their partnership with Ricardo. Would cost completely rule it out or could they figure out some way to make it work?
