Going fast in a straight line requires no skill and grows old quick. My grandma could floor the pedal of a 720. It's only a matter of time before your brother gets outrun by a [insert modified whatever here] and then he too has inferiority complex. It's never ending.

So instead of spending thousands to outrun your brother, only to get embarrassed when he gets a tune, get some performance driving coaching and out-drive him on the track.

My grandma cannot run good lap times.
We 'Track Pack' guys think a like.

i have a 2015 650S and it runs 60-130 so far a best of 4.51 (spinning), which is significantly faster then a stock 720s, and will hold its own against a tune/DP 720s on 93 octane
my mods are: pure 900 turbos, BL downpies, ID1050x, and on 100 octane map by M-Engineering

in future I may add meth injection, or FP + E85 tune, and I think I will be in low 4's.

on dragy I think I have the fastest 60-130 time of any non 720s mclaren

thats pretty insane chod! How’s the driveability?

I purchased a McLaren 570s and let my brother drive it. The next day he went to the McLaren dealer and purchased a 720s...
What modifications are required to make my car faster than his?
Are downpipes, exhaust and tune sufficient or do I need turbos too?
Thanks!
Dont waste your money and time trying to make it faster.. After ur bolt on mods, 720s stil will be faster. And for a 720s to be 800-850whp easily, its just downpipes and tune on racegas. 720s is simply just another level

I'm going to have to disagree. I made a turbokit that I still sell that makes 900-1050 whp that traps faster than 720s that are not on c16 with overly aggressive timing. @12cKid and others (guy with 1050hp) will attest to this. Drag times even said that @12cKid had the hardest accelerating mclaren that he had ever driven. And that car, at the time, had a weakened clutch.

Never going to happen. Also this story sounds fishy. But if it’s real I’ve got some great bridges I’d like to sell you and your brother. Several connect to Manhattan.

You guys that say its"never going to happen". and "cant be done". are hilarious. I bet you all built businesses and successful careers defying the odds with people telling you "you cant do it " "You will never succeed". Is it that hard to believe that someone likes their Huracan, GTR, 570, 600, MP4 and wants into be ballistic speed? You work w what you got . Op had a simple question.

Do you enjoy your car?

Swap the 7 and the 5, to get a 750S :)

Thanks! I sent Excell Racing and XPRD an e-mail. Which one would you recommend?

I live close to Excell and they have worked on many of my cars. Rob and Jay are talented and straight shooters. They fix a lot of other tuners mistakes. They do exhaust and tune. all in-house . Im partial :). I'm sure XPrd have good offerings as well I just done know them. Good Luck and make sure you post the video when you blast by your brother.

I love my car! I'm not a person that cares too much about straight line speed but my brother is gifted at getting under people's skin.
Good. I enjoy acceleration, but it doesn't take long to be at highly illegal, and potentially dangerous, speeds. Personally, I'd ignore him, although my annoying brother is on another continent ..

Whatever you do to your car, he will be able to one-up you. Practically, you can't reasonably exploit these cars on public roads. A more relevant pissing match would be who is the better driver, so I'd spend my money on driver training, or having fun on a track.

There are plenty half mile events that pop up across the country that are made for people who like to go fast in their street cars. If you do mod it have him go with you to a half mile event and give him a thrashing
