in the mso picture there is a purple hue to it, on the paint sample I do not detect any purple at all. Are my eyes that bad?
I see purple in the rendering.

Had a Blue Sideris Lambo - deep blue with silver flake but it did pick up some purple. Your eyes are fine the colors have movement. After seeing the Elva designs would love to see some 765LT MSO paint schemes. Problem is the car doesn't flow like the Elva - curious to see how they are handling the paints.

My ‘MSO bespoke exterior paint - volcano orange’ was $21,070 CAD.

My guess is that a one-off colour is probably closer to $40-50k.

here in EU that would be a basic personal color but not the fancy ones with exotic metal flakes and so on and it would not be locked to others - basically meaning it could become a factory color afterwards (that actually happened to a friend of mine with his LaFerrari as he did not lock it and not other ppl now pick the color as well) ... locking a color to personal use only is way more expensive than just paying for a color sample mixed to your taste ...

I'd hold off on making conclusions about what paint color you want.

The MSO presentation had a lot of nice combinations, liveries and two colors that fade into each other from the front to the rear of the car.

Your dealers should be able to show you those renderings now (they showed in the presentation but they wouldn't send them to you unless you did the spec session with those combinations (ie; you might spec two different type colors and they will only send you those two renderings and not all the other ones that they showed you - they didn't trust people and though that they would get leaked).

I agree. At least from those shots it doesn’t seem to have that depth and subtle color shift I would expect from a volcano color.
For that you are probably better with Atlantic blue, seems to be more lively than the volcano variant.
