I really like the headlights. I saw a 750 very similar to yours @Firstkill yesterday when dropping off my 458 to get detailed and some other minor work done, and I can't stop thinking about how cool they are. Somehow, they are even more insectoid than the 720, and for me, I love it.

on the 720. There use to be chrome around the window trim. Here is my old 720coupe. If you follow a pillar through the roof and window there is a chrome strip

that gets “stealth”. And the exhaust tip. But I’m not sure if this is even a current option on the 750

Got a spec question and curious about your thoughts. Dark blue MSO bespoke color on a 750s spider. I am thinking of doing headlight surround in body color, louver with CF, exterior details carbon pack, underbody in CF, lower bumper in CF, however leave the upper structure as is in gloss black so the entire cockpit bubble from A pillar to the roof frame to the tonneau cover is consistent and sort of a uniform look. Would that look weird?

I don’t think that will look weird at all. The A Pillar and roof structure appear as part of the body and most of the carbon bits you’re doing are almost like separate components.

My approach was the opposite by the way. I did the exterior details in CF package but left the ground level stuff gloss black plastic which will be far easier to repair if it ever gets a knick or a scratch. And they probably will over time.

the black plastic is not any cheaper either if you want oem mclaren parts.

Yes, what @invisiblewave said. You can repair the plastic with Plastic Bonder and then paint it to blend and make it invisible. I'm speaking from personal experience (I did it myself).
