So the new 750S is out and thought we could start a thread on how folks plan to spec their own, or spec a dream version.

I’m still figuring out my own. Most likely I will stay with a spider unless by some miracle they release a glass roof for the coupe.

I’ll likely get either black, supernova silver, or small chance I’ll get the Mercedes electro chrome blue. Forget the actual color name at the moment. If I get the blue I’ll get calipers to match. Not sure about caliper color for the black/silver, might keep it boring black just so I don’t need to see brake dust.

Interior is likely to be boring as hell black with no carbon, I like the contrast of silver metal. If I get the blue, I might get some matching mso blue bobs for some switchgear. I tend to keep my cars forever and for me, nothing holds up like black leather and stays new looking over time. My blue jeans tend to ruin any other color, sadly.

As for doodad options it will likely include, tech/luxe package (unless I go blue and then I might do an mso interior), upgraded radio, glass roof, upgraded brakes, 360 cameras, homelink, carbon fiber sill, electric comfort seats.

Thats all I have figured out for now but hoping to learn from others choices here.

Do you have an allocation? That sounds amazing!
I had a decently early deposit down, I guess a couple months ago now? I asked for a year 2 allocation. So no specific allocation yet. But I've done my bit for god and country beta testing the 12C. This Time I want to get a boring later build.

Also, has anyone seen Ludus Blue in person. It looks pretty close to the Mercedes Electro Blue that I like, but I find the configurator colors are very off, at least for supernova Silver.

Here it kind of looks electro like I like.

But then here , it just looks like a blue (nice but not electro)

The 720S glass door top panels are readily available and should be possible to retrofit to a 750S coupe after purchase. That would get you the weight benefits of the coupe and likely still come in under the cost of the spider after conversion.
Thanks, but I'm not going to do anything non-McLaren. I like to keep stuff pretty stock.

I'm going to do Volcano red. My interior choice tbd, but I'm leaning towards white. I know it will look amazing, but I don't think I can stomach having to sell a Mac with white seats... So idk yet.

Plan was VR over white, turbine wheels in gloss black, white calipers with Mclaren stamped in red. Tie it altogether with the white interior. But just the seats and maybe door cards, don't want to go overboard.
It's a great classic combo. Red seatbelts?

I’m not that big into CF, but the extra texture it adds can be nice with darker paints. Black with super dark exterior paint is kinda meh

For folks who are annoyed by the body color front spoiler area, just wrap that post delivery. Personally I’d have mso do the side mirrors. It’s not expensive for black or CF or a lot of customization there
It’s all subjective. Very few wrong answers. Ultimately, if it makes the owner happy, that’s what counts.

If I recall, there used to be an option for an electric telescoping wheel that would move with memory. Is this now standard in the 750, or just absent? I also wonder, if you paid MSO enough money, would they give you a coupe with a glass roof?

Trying to pick between the steering wheels

- The two Carbon fibre steering wheel options $4,400 and the $5,700 option. Pretty sure the more expensive one just has carbon fibre on the top. Any disadvantages to the extra carbon fiber on top and is that the only difference?

- On the one that comes standard with the car with the metal gearshift paddles, are the paddles smaller / shorter than the carbon fibre options?
So the base seems to come with the old short metal paddles.

The upgraded performance and lux packages seem to come with big metal titanium paddles. I think I prefer the billet style titanium metal to carbon fiber and both those options seem to be just as long as the extended carbon fiber paddles. At least from what I can observe in the configurator.

I would like to get leather on the upper part of the door. resting Your arm up there with body oils can Matt the alcanTara over time. But do not see any option for that. I guess mso would be the only way to get that.

So this is blade silver:

It's got like a hint of bronze in it.

Here is super nova silver. The Configurator is awful in how it shows super nova silver shows super nova silver almost as putty (which makes me wonder how 'off' the other colors are too in the configurator). In person super nova silver is kind of bursting into your eyes, almost Liquid Metal effect.
