You may be surprised to hear, Trevor, that I went to try to test drive a Z06 yesterday. After enduring the usual half hour of dealer bullshit, I was then informed that they don't do test drives in the Z06, despite having a dozen of them on the lot, two of which were used. They did offer to let me drive it once round their parking lot. I declined and left.

I just walked in and asked to drive one because I am interested. They took a copy of my license and threw me the keys. They told me to take my time. Maybe a difference in appearance?

ZR1 vs 750. With the engine mods the horsepower is equal but there is a 600 lb weight difference. E-cars are crazy. The Plaid S is 4828 lb (2190 kg) but was as fast as the 750. But not all day long.
