But at the speeds it reaches you also need a Lorentz Transformation to calculate its trajectory! 😂Inertia and momentum only see the weight.
On the streets, an AWD, hybrid, 5.5l flat plane crank twin turbo’d Corvette should kill the 750S. Hard to beat that. Look at the SF90. It’s pretty much an American “budget” SF90.Yes on all points. That's apparently the Mclarenkilla. I was told.😮
I just don’t agreeI just can't get over the looks. The C8 is such a messy design IMO.
Your spec looks very nice. One of the better ones I’ve seen.I just don’t agree
That's a great colour combo. I saw one today in a bright blue that was pretty easy on the eye too.I just don’t agree
It's also a car that doesnt photograph well and looks better in person. That's a great colour combo. I saw one today in a bright blue that was pretty easy on the eye too.
This thing is going to be a beast whatever it weighs.
They really do great work.can bet your ass on this..
zr1's never disappoint.
Neither do z06's really. So much bang for the buck.
Wait what?🤦♀️The corvettes just keep on coming......
And it will always be just another corvette , as every man & his dog has got one
I sure hope you're right about the C9. The C8 is probably the best bang for your buck out there. Get a designer to make the C9 look absolutely killer and look out...They really do great work.
Im looking forward to the C9. I think the 'uncanny valley' some people see here is the car is a really great bridge in design from the C7 to a mid engine version of it. It brought some artificiality with it, in the angular design to show the connection. One that can be very much smoothed away in the C9 and as such I bet it becomes a much more organic and wholistic design.
Not to say I dislike the C8. I think it photographs like poop, but in person, everyone I see looks really kind of cool.
While he's at it get the designer to have the C9 shed some weight!,,, Get a designer to make the C9 look absolutely killer and look out...
If the prices are going up a carbon fiber chassis monocoque would be a good start, although with the volumes they make it might not be possible. While he's at it get the designer to have the C9 shed some weight!
I drove a 2021 Porsche Turbo S & a 2021 720S. 650 lbs/ 300 kgs weight difference was felt on the road & the track.Drive my Z06 and see if the weight is something that concerns you. You’ll be too busy enjoying yourself.
I tracked my 2022 Turbo S Lightweight for the 5th time yesterday on a very fast trackI drove a 2021 Porsche Turbo S & a 2021 720S. 650 lbs/ 300 kgs weight difference was felt on the road & the track.
The Z06 is nice but the ZR1 will be the one to own. The two problems with the Z06 are fuel economy and transmission. The fuel economy is downright AWFUL. There's a torque hole in the Z06 that is difficult to overcome. It's somewhat of a design flaw. For example I was on the long back straight at VIR and I couldn't get out of 5th gear (or maybe it was 6th - it was several months ago that I ran it there). The fastest I could go was around 155 mph because that gear was too tall for the limited torque of the Z06 to overcome it. A McLaren, Ferrari, even my C7 ZR1, is easily doing well over 175 on that straight. I've hit 185 safely on that section. I suspect they designed the transmission with the ZR1 in mind where the turbos could get you to redline and into the next gear but the Z06 couldn't do it.I’m in love with my Z06. It’s amazing. I’m sure the ZR1 will be too
What else can be said is that some guys just like fat sheila's .......Drive my Z06 and see if the weight is something that concerns you. You’ll be too busy enjoying yourself.
100%. I never came up with the right word. Messy nails it. Cool iteration. But needs to be tumbled - to knock off the sharp edges, wings, air inlets. etc 😁I just don’t agree
Beware of the build quality.
FWIW I had a C8 and C8 Z06 and the Z06 is definitely better built.Beware of the build quality.
My C8 3LT Z51 i sold after after a few months of ownership.
The carpet separated/cut sort at factory and was offset.
The warranty fixes required would take 9-10 months for the dealer to fix.
Crap on that nonsense.
Got rid of it a few weeks ago.
Not to mention the car was delivered with the 2nd roof panel with two chips as it was not secured properly in the trunk.
Crap!
Chevy never again!
