Since a part of the sports exhaust is a sound port in the inside of the cabin, it is not simply a different exhaust. Could be quite costly therefore.

I would upgrade the exhaust to a full aftermarket setup. I had sport exhaust and while it was awesome a full setup really changes the car. It wont be that much more expensive than going to OEM sport. Might even be cheaper in some cases depending on what bradn you go with. I did full Unobtanium DP's and rear section and could not be happier.

 

The one that SRM (shardul) has sounds AWESOME...no need to worry about that in-car speaker exhaust noise tech....the real F1-style sound will fill the cabin 'naturally'..

 

720s oem exhaust really sounds like a air vacuum! lol sport is a bit better.. but generally its a disapointing sound from a 350k+ car.. full aftermarket set up really improves the sound.. i heard couple systems and loved.. will do mine soon

 

Especially in Switzerland I really wouldn’t go with an aftermarket exhaust, it‘s a recipe for troubles.

 

Mine with factory sports exhaust, so you can hear what it sounds like.

You will be better off going with the aftermarket route. You can get a descent Titanium cat-back for $ 2,000 to $ 3,000 or a stainless steel one for less than that. It will sound better than the sport and save you a few bucks.

yes it does and so does the sport pipes. but the isg is an obnoxious postiche of piped in the cabin sound.

Negative - only the sport exhaust has the ISG.

 

I don't believe standard exhaust comes with ISG (or if it does, it is piped in differently). Sport exhaust cars have the two ISG vents behind the little netting between the seats. Std exhaust does not have these vents.

 

you might be correct.
iirc,the upgrade to sport exhaust also includes the installation of isg but not 100% sure.

Theres a 720s that raised my interest but it come with the normal exhaust. How much does it cost to upgrade it to the much nicer sounding sports exhaust?
Has anyone done that?
