Tracking Chip for Security / I phone app.

My 2016 911 turbo S had "in touch" chip and software. Great for notifications if it left my home area, valet mode etc.

Any recommendations for something like that for 570S? So far no one, inc Mclaren dealership, know of anything and have had no other requests.

Now, its not like id leave it out overnight anywhere.. only restaurants, mall, family etc, or a bad area.. but, I like that kind of re-asurance... knowing where it is at any time.

Any recommendations for LA area (ideally West valley)...?

You can probably get a dash cam that does the same. I have an Owl cam for that. It's subscription based though. I think Raven cam does the same

but cant they just take the camera out...... then you cant track its location....

Correct.

There are also GPS tracking units you can hard wire into the car. I haven't looked into these in a while so I can't recommend any but they do exist. I believe the company that owns owl cam has fleet tracking options for this as well.

thats the issue im asking... no one knows of [ hard wired ] one for mclaren and no one wants to install....

super series mac had tracking as an option. it was done through lojack in the usa and vodafone in england iirc.
