570s WORLD RECORD (9.92@144mph) DME Tuning
Hi Mac Life!
We've been tuning M838T's for quite some time now, but about 6 months ago were able to acquire a 570s of our own. We've finally dialed the car in to just about what we feel is the most that can be safely achieved with the stock TD04 turbochargers. I'll let the numbers do the talking
MUSTANG #'s (first graph shown):
- Stock tune + catless downpipes + 100 octane: 503whp/508wtq
- DME S2 + catless downpipes + 93 octane: 588whp/582wtq
- DME S2 + catless downpipes + 100 octane: 608whp/619wtq
"Corrected" to Precision Tuning DYNOJET #'s (second graph shown):
- Stock tune + catless downpipes + 100 octane: 564whp/570wtq
- DME S2 + catless downpipes + 93 octane: 655whp/681wtq
- DME S2 + catless downpipes + 100 octane: 682whp/695wtq
Unfortunately the car was not stock for even 10 miles post delivery and therefor the baseline was done with catless downpipes and a blend of 100 octane. The above corrected Dynojet numbers are to reference the dyno we otherwise use which is located at Precision Tuning in Spotswood, NJ. These cars require linked dyno's and for this reason we had to make alternate arrangements.
Best run of the day: 9.92@144.77
Best trap: 145.52
DME tune and catless downpipes only! Gotta love this platform.
Couldn't quite get the launch lower than a high 1.6x 60ft, but the numbers do suggest the car can make a 9.7 second pass in a perfect world. Only a few of time slips are pictured, but nearly twenty 9sec passes were made, a lot of which were hot-lapped back to back. Reliability and consistency! We'll be performing S1 turbo upgrades to our car over the winter and will come back looking for a mid 9 second pass. Traction is nearly non existent with our current weather in the North East, but I'm expecting 60-130 times comfortably in the mid 5's. I'll be sharing these v-box figures when possible along with our newest feature: rolling brake boost.
You can find us on instagram @dmetuning. Please excuse what you see on our website as it's currently under construction. We offer very affordable tune and downpipe package deals along with a same day ECU turnaround. I encourage you guys to reach out for pricing, questions or concerns via PM or email: info@dmetuning.com.
Looking forward to servicing the community!
Best,
