Hey guys, have you seen the news about the new tune developed by Gintani for our McLaren Artura? Gintani claims a significant power increase—about 110 HP at the wheels and 200 Nm of extra torque. However, their dyno charts confirm that our stock car doesn’t actually have the 700 HP at the engine as claimed by the manufacturer.

As I had discovered, the full use of the electric motor only happens during launch control. They also recorded around 630 HP at the engine and about 550 HP at the wheels, if I remember correctly. Check it out, I’m attaching the link.

I’m seriously considering taking the risk and getting it done.”

Video shows 73HP and 100 f/lbs , if true that'll be great for the car, but would need actually data to back it up, dyno charts from some tuners mean very little

Why not do it? It isnt exactly pushing crazy power. Could probably do without the pops and bangs though, burbles are ok but thats too aggressive and it can damage exhaust valves.

I don´t care about dyno figures, I am just looking on driving impressions. There, I am absolutely happy what my spider delivers. Can be used as a daily, even in city environment, and if I´m asking for, it delivers pretty well. Of course, there are stronger cars outside, but in a controlled environment as we have in Europe, it makes no sense at all.
I have a lot of experience with heavily tuned Lotus` as my 600 hp Exige V6. You should consider that you need to improve other components as transmission, suspension, brakes too to handle the power properly...

Did anyone else notice this run is JIS not SAE which is the standard that most race organizations use? I don't believe for a second the car put down such low numbers and their tune gave so much higher numbers. They did the first run using one factor and then changed the factor to show a super high number. Its blatant fraud to sell their tune.
