Would guess labor hours and materials are small in factoring the cost of MSO. Production line stop and adjusting to special orders is extremely expensive at a factory.
Porsche program is a small window and would guess it's more of a pia then profit.
Ferrari Atelier Tailor Made have levels - Tailor Made imagine around 150k.
MSO spider published price list I think is reasonable - going above and beyond the list one may want to leave the normal mindset behind and embrace the one off special car and experience.

That is a beautiful spec. I would have done all yellow trim on the seats but everything else was well done. The wheels are bonkers!

Yes ChrisK1982 was talking about me when he pointed that out. I was in contact with my dealer about that option and while he initially said all other carbon fibre options and packs were included he later told me(after talking to MSO) they were not included and only the body panels which would normally be painted in the chosen color would be visual CF with that 130k option. That would only include the air brake and frunk/hood.

Can you share what information you got on this?

I am waiting for them to price my build so this isn't final but the info I got was that all the exterior CF options are included in the spider visual CF option that is $153,570 in the USA price list. I specifically asked about this and mentioned the questions on this I had read online. They clearly stated that it does include all the exterior CF options. There are still a few parts like the spider roof that are not in CF and cannot be ordered in CF. I believe the windscreen surround as well.

Vega Blue and McLaren Orange. I went with comfort seats. I plan on doing a lot of road driving in this car with maybe 1-2 track days a year. I had a 600LT with Senna seats. After 2 hours they were very uncomfortable.

Thanks. I’ve typically only held onto my McLarens for 2-3 years, but I think this one will be a keeper.

Agree, I wasn’t blown away. However I spec’d the light weight wheels but the new wheels ended up on my rendering.

Is MSO doing that piping around the carbon fiber bits? Is it vinyl?

Vinyl pinstriping is $6-10k, where as the paint is more than $30k.

Yes. By frunk you mean front hood - if so - yes and they indicated it includes the special badge that is under the laquer - is it called electroformed?

That is interesting and weird as my dealer was 100% positive that only the hood and wing were included and not alle the other options.

That could be an explanation. But since it's exactly the same price in Euros that he got quoted maybe my sales guy is wrong..
There definitely seems to be some confusion around that option.

That’s consistent with what I was told, the pricing and renders I received.
