Does anyone know when we can expect the first reviews to come out?

Like paint bubbling, doors misaligned, panels loose inside and noises that cant be fixed. I know its hit or miss but its a $400,000 car (at least thats how much my build is)
Anything can be fixed.
lol! on a brand new car?
I've done it on cars with under 600 miles, but a few years age. That's basically a new car.

You can't have multiple issues if the only one is a fire.

so is this a McLaren invite or out of pocket? did you have to schedule it with corporate or can the dealer pull the strings?
I'm already there for a week so I figured why not make it happen! I made arrangements through a dealer as I have established relationships with a few, I didn't try contacting corporate.

US cars won't be seen till November at the earliest. They're hoping they won't be held at the port for any reason, none have left UK as of Sept 20th.

Do we have anyone (globally) whose car has completed production? Is anyone worried that any of the Artura issues could also show up in 750S - particularly the screens overheating or shutting off? Looking at the pictures, it's hard not to notice similarities between 750S and Artura screens. Is there anyone whose car was supposed to be in production by now but got delayed? Does Mclaren explain why its delayed? Is it because of parts missing?

I was at the factory Wednesday and there were at least a dozen 750's around being tested as daily cars. I don't know how long they continue testing after cars start going out but with the bulk of the car being established I suspect they will weed out the issues quickly.

That being said, I saw very few 750's in production and they make 17 cars a day.

I’m a bit confused. Other manufacturers, even for facelift models, test their cars for months all over the world and here you guys are seeing first batch of test cars finally being produced. Is that enough time to test these cars? Is this a Mclaren thing (testing cycle not taking 12-18 months like others)? Like snow testing or track testing. We see Porsche testing the facelift 992 in nurburgring as far back as 18 months ago from today and we are still a year away from a facelift 992 from being built for customers.

Maybe they saw this thread? :)

I dont think you can replicate real world testing with condensed track driving. You have to give these cars to employees as well as test drivers and let them drive them normally. Snow, rain, excessive heat, high altitude testing, humidity testing all require time not just miles. If you dont do this, you’ll have all kinds of gremlins causing CELs and other unexplained behavior. Gaskets not holding up, pipes coming loose, water leaks, glass breaking all indicate cars dont go through proper road testing. It takes a lot of time and effort (and money in the form of loss revenue because you cant sell the cars just yet).

I hope 750S doesnt have its own set of “teething issues”. I did put a decent size of deposit down and I’ll be super pissed (and very vocal) if I end up becoming a beta tester for Mclaren.

You will be a beta tester if you buy. It’s part of the game.

So they're you go 10 years testing into 5 months. We'll always get the answers. Source IG.
60,000 kilometers isn't 10 years on my own car, it's less, by a lot. I'm sure that's 60k over all test cars, which isn't exactly longevity, especially for things that die over time instead of miles.

To be honest now that we've got something on the Mclaren 750S I'd Love to know what it is or was for the McLaren Artura? As you've said. longevity it perhaps isn't.

But it wouldn't be fair, at all to compare it with say Posche or Ferrari or Lamborghini because their budgets will be much bigger.

Lastly maybe as an evolution of the McLaren 720S the bulk of it was already done anyway the testing and validation. I think that's part of it.
