could be ... the claimed top speed is also lower for the 765LT ... at least until someone proofs that it isn't at some high speed airstrip event ...

dont get it, maybe just stay with the official numbers:

720s 0-200kph 7,8sec, 0-300kph 21,4sec
765lt 0-200kph 7,0sec 0-300kph 18,0 sec

wish full thinking for the 720s...

I still have both 720s and 765lt and i can tell you the 765lt is the faster up to top speed.
i go so far that under ideal condition the 765lt can hit 0-300kph in high 16sec vs the 720s is around 19sec

I know you guys all hate the sport auto magazine test and bringing it up is almost taboo but i am truly curious about this and would like soms knowledgeable advice as to what went on. I want to put this simply.

Thw following ink is for the 765lt lap. At 5:05 the car reaches a top speed of 281kph

The following link is for the 720s lap.

Qt 1:09 the car hits 281kph. Samw section same, similar entry speeds.

Speaking about the LT. It really seems that the extra aero creates some drag past 255. But helps maintain higher speeds in the corners. If you compare cornering speeds, the LT is (almost) always better but the driver man handling the car is where the time was lost in the test. It is definitely a faster car than the 720s im sure tho

When each is at 281kph (top speed), the LT is lapping about a half a second quicker than the 720. This makes me think the time was lost in the corners.

Which couple of corners is the LT running slower than 720?

Might also be interesting to see cornering speeds of Senna run too.

I'll run my 720 and 765 side by side soon... I did do a quick 40-130 race in my 720 vs a soso driver in a 765 and the 765 was pulling away pretty good... however based on my 1/2 mile test in the 765 it should be close at higher speeds... my thoughts are the 720 won't have enough time to pass the 765LT by the time the 765LT hits it's "stated" 205 MPH top speed...

I know this is an older discussion. I was the driver in the runway test. Just for curiosity I would love to know how the race side by side would be from zero to 205. I don’t think the 720 would catch up in time. I would also like to see a rolling race from 100 and up. Both epic cars. I totally regret not getting the 765 when I could have had one of the very early ones. Now I will wait to prices get more reasonable.
