is there difference in price on used 2013?
Are spider more desirable than coupe?
More expensive? What price different

Trying my luck with 12c 😂 .. never owned mclaren before .. always Ferrari ..

I would expect spiders to be cheaper, as 2013/4 coupés are very rare. I specifically wanted a coupé, as the spider felt too small inside, although I don't know how many others agree.

I bought my 2013 Spider last year. In my experience the spiders were definitely more expensive. At least 5-10K when I was searching.

How many 2013/4 coupés did you see?

I'd expect them to command higher prices, because they're very rare, whereas 2012 only has coupés.

When I was shopping for mine a few months ago I was watching the prices over the last 6 months checking out ads every few days. Overall the spiders were in the top 25% of the prices. When I bought mine there were 3 spyders available nation wide versus about 15 or so coupes.

The question was about 2013 12Cs. You didn't see 15 2013 12C coupés. People are comparing the price of 2012 coupés with that for 2013/4 spiders, which isn't a valid comparison, IMO.

They're newer, so, yes, they should be worth more.

The op asked about 2013. Looking at a quick search the avg price for a 2013 coupe tends to be a bit higher than a 2012 coupe. Why is it not a valid comparison, is there something vastly different on a 2012 that makes it special?

How many sales of 2013 coupés have you seen?

The 2012 coupé does have swipe doors ..

The idea of getting soaked while I fussed with the doors wasn’t appealing to me. I how often is there occasion when people try to get into the car. Many don’t even know there’s a button under the door and that it goes up. If they know that much they probably know about the swipe door feature.

No need to get rained on. You can also use the key remote - press twice to open the driver's door, and for over 2s to open the passenger door.

Are you certified by mclaren ? Will your work like fluid change etc.. void the warranty ?

Personally, if I had @ima2nr close by, I wouldn't buy an ESC ("warranty"). On a new (to me) car, I'd keep it long enough to cover any issues that I notice over the first few months, then cash the rest in, after an inspection.

top down all the way .. from Beverly hills to on Hw1 ..

Very different than other convertible cars i owned ,, compare it to California its way more enjoyable with very good wind flow around the cabin at high speed ..
i think because the way you sit low in monocoque , and meridian sound system change when top down ..
