My first takeaway from spec mention is the 233 MPH figure. Why are they saying it and not showing it? Let's see it, that's an impressive feat. It quite literally is the reason the XJ220 didn't sell, because they said it would do 220 MPH and couldn't.
Just Google it. It was shown live when they did it....whoops didn't notice it's posted above.

It would seem it's GPS validated which at least they did that right, as per prior history of fraud.

The ZR-1 will be well tuned for road courses. Pilot Cup 2 Sport tires, 245 in rear. 9.5 at 150 without prep. This Corvette will be in the 8's, on 93 octane. Plus 880tq. It's very tough to be cubic inches.

Personally, I'm not a Corvette person, mainly because they've Corvettes.

I would appreciate someone with far more knowledge to help me with the SF90. Before that, Ferrari was "forced" to turbo charge their 458 replacement by McLaren. Cute.

The SF90 has a motor, likely derived from the 488, which produces 769hp. The SF90 has 2 front electric motors, with each producing 133hp. There is a 3rd electric motor out back that produces 201hp. Ferrari says they are all in play. I think some electric motors can disengage, but not necessarily. That's 1,236hp, close to 1,000tq. I don't believe that 986hp for this heavy a car, that runs 9.5 at 150.

The SF90 was Corvettes goal.

Any idea what your 60ft time would need to be for a two wheel drive car to get into the 8’s on street tires at ‘only’ 150mph…the delta from 9.5 to 8.9 is quite a lot…

The new ZR1 is awesome…a great accomplishment…and I love corvettes, still have a ‘19 ZR1, but in the real world it’ll be 3900-4000lbs. Companies just keep adding power with wider tires to heavier and heavier cars. That future is not for me…Personally I think it’ll be similar to an SF90, 296 or 765…could be slightly quicker…but it likely won’t be as much fun to drive. Certainly consumables on track will be ugly…

what was the point of this post exactly?

I love blanket statements like this " I'm not a vette person, mainly because they're Corvettes" What does that even mean? You don't like vettes because of the stigma, old white guys with new balances drive them? (because that's all I ever hear)

I had my C7Z when I was 28, and I thoroughly enjoyed slapping people around from a 40 roll. I hope to god I can get my hands on this ZR1 so I can do the same thing again, to supercar guys like you.

Based on brooks from dragtimes 765 numbers I think the 765 will be faster but time will tell. 2.1 to 60 then 1.8 to 60 with a 1 ft rollout (same as how the zr1 was tested) are some stout numbers

Are you suggesting that when actual owners get them in the real world it won't do the numbers claimed, EXACTLY like what happened with the Demon where zero people replicated Dodge results?

It'll probably go down better over there because there isn't such a rabidly reactionary attitude to electric, and the Corvette badge doesn't have the same Bubba image it has here.
Are you telling me they don't sell New Balance in UK? I've never looked, because I'm a McLaren owner.
