Press release says:

Wilton Classic and Supercars returns on Sunday 5th August when once again Lord Pembroke will allow a great collection of classic and current supercars to park on his lawn alongside a host of trade stands and other attractions.

This year sees an increase in display cars, air displays, more trade and club stands and the addition of a dedicated classic car display area.

McLaren are now sponsers [sic] for 2012, so expect it to be a significant presence over the weekend.

Anyone know if McLaren are putting on anything for us long suffering owners

Tweeted Dan Connell again yesterday and he replied this moring saying that one of his team will be in touch.

Fortunatly I did not hold my breath, as I'm still waiting!!

As you say Bruce, you would have thought it would be great PR to get as many owners involved as possible.

If/when they bother to contact me and if anything to report, I will update.

More than a week later and after emailing my usually reliable contact at MTC with further promises made, still nothing heard, despite promises that they would be in touch.

Now feel that McLaren have completely disowned the loyal owners.

Shattered, just like the residual on my car!

Great great car Zippy - shame about the other stuff.

Ferrari dont give a sh-t and you know it, Mclaren just miss so many tricks. I do however believe the will is there so they will get there one day . Just not yet it seems

I would love to go but know little about it other than they make carpets.
