There is no market for hyper cars, unless the price drops............the discounting on new cars is rife amongst all the prestige brands......it is a dire market at the moment.

With the equivalent new price being 195k i would have thought this would be a bargain...

We find ourselves in dire times IMOP, it's doom, dooooooom all around. £40,000 off a new showroom AMG engined gull wing SLS puts big downward pressure on the pre-owned market.

It is just my opinion but Adam Smith in 1776 described, in The Wealth of Nations, if supply of MP12's exceeds demand then prices will drop.

For the money the car is asking, I wouldn't - and didn't go anywhere but the official dealer.
I'm new to the brand and wanted the safety of an official supplier- and for that I paid more I accept

Such an easy answer ... Business(and I am not talking about cars) is tough and therefore people are keeping their cash.

When certainty returns, then people will be confortable in spending this amout of money or obtaining credit.

For the moment cash is king .... in the bank.
