I haven't asked my rep yet (I feel like sometimes I pepper them with too many questions in succession), but was wondering if anyone knew what the warranty on the 12C will be? Comparable to the new Ferrari 7 year maintenance plan and 3 year warranty, I'd hope?

Hmmm, good question. My dealer is a five hour drive away, so any problems at all are likely to be a complete PITA. Does anyone have details of the McLaren tracking system? I've got it on my order, hoping that some clever guy in Woking will be instantly able to diagnose anything that crops up and immediately dispatch a repair truck (but I'm an optimist).

texas mongrel. McLaren can monitor the car remotely and know how the car is functioning. They can tell which components need replacement, which are then shipped to the dealer before service.

Also the seat has a pressure sensor to measure changes in driver weight so they can compute degradation of 0-60 times. They assume their driver demographic is not getting slimmer!

Those maintenance plans are great?! Funny how the oil change and service intervals suddenly go from every 3,000 miles to every 10,000 miles.

........so that means Ron will know when I've too many donuts and will then transmit a new tune to compensate for my lard-ass? Cool.
