• Add an option to lower the car an inch or two, just like I can raise it. I would also like it if it could raise / lower about 10x faster.
• Improve the charging capacity on all USB outlets, as only one of my outlets can keep up with my phone drain when running Wayz, Escort, etc., simultaneously
• The defroster needs an option to run at something other than insane max blast all the time.
• Keyless start needs to be less sensitive to where the key actually is. (I keep mine in my right pocket, as the left pocket is sometimes too far away.)

That's about all I can think of at the moment. The car is darn near perfection.

I still think its not a good idea that you don't even have some basic controls on the steering wheel - this goes for all McLaren cars - as I find it very unsafe to use the touchscreen doing even the most basic stuff while driving ...

I still think its not a good idea that you don't even have some basic controls on the steering wheel - this goes for all McLaren cars - as I find it very unsafe to use the touchscreen doing even the most basic stuff while driving ...

Love our Macs, but if they had controls on the steering wheels we’d need another website just to keep up with the resultant quirks. Might prove entertaining but for me just getting the windows to go up ok and alarms to stay silent is entertaining enough.

Realise this isn't the point of your question OP.
I think you would miss the carbon bits if you didn't get. The interior of my old 570 didn't have and i always secretly wished it had the carbon. My 720 does and love it. Otherwise all great as is.

I would love to change:

1. Locate the power seat adjustment controls to the outboard bolster so you can at least glance at them upon entry.
2. The Front Axel Lift (FAL) control button may have been moved on later model year (MY) cars. It is on the Cruise Control/Speed Limit stalk on my '18 MY car. I usually accidentally activate the speed limiter before having to start over and trigger the FAL. Also, once this process is completed, I don't need the information screen to remain on the FAL completion notice until I push the FAL button again.
3. Better Key Fob Recognition technology.
4. Better Track Telemetry Interface. I have this option and have never been able to make it work. A paltry dealership network makes this education process more difficult, but maybe McLaren could upload some detailed videos on how to use this feature.
5. Bigger fuel filler piping. Kudos to anyone who can fill the fuel tank without a shut-off triggering!
6. Make the MSO paddle shifters standard on all cars. My hands would get fatigued if I hade to use the smaller shifters.

McLaren could focus on better electronics/electronics interface resolutions to improve its cars. Nonetheless, I absolutely love the driving position, visibility, power, handling, and tactile controls of my 720S. I hope they preserve the steering wheel for steering only and keep hydraulic-assisted steering!

The touch screen has to have the worst ergonomics. Why do I need to go through multiple steps just to change the radio station. This can be vastly improved by reducing the levels you have to go into to make things work. It’s not that it doesn’t work- just needs a software rewrite to regonfigure everything.

The lift is too slow to operate.

Improve the quality- too many rattles, shakes etc.

power seat controls are horrible. Probably designed by the same guy who designed the touch screen interface.

I’ve found that pushing the filler nozzle full in and holding in place helps.

Or it might explain the small fuel tank. Not at the pump as long.

Steering wheel will be changed soon, according to McLaren CEO. I read in an interview that they were spending millions of pounds to design a new wheel, not by necessity but because of customers demand.
It should be on new cars soon.
