Was within minutes of sealing the deal on a white MP4, then me being me, (one last internet search to see if anything else became available) I find a very highly optioned VO car. Emailed the place asking the price to "buy it today" and get a response that was too good to pass on!

Having said that, I have yet to see this color in person, but... I've read and heard from many that it is unbelievable!

Guess I'm just looking for some reassurance...

I went to look at a VO one a few months back. I only went as it was the nearest McLaren to me, not because I was interested in the color per se. For one I would think of buying, I was mainly interested in getting something that would be more 'discreet' (grey / black / not in-your-face)... Then I went and saw this VO one, and I changed my mind on the spot! It's stunning in person!

The one I looked at only had a few thousand miles on it, but it did have some chips in the paint from road dirt. If the car you're getting isn't wrapped, I'd certainly get that taken care of before driving it around too much. There are a few other threads on what to wrap here on ML.

I've only seen one VO car on the road (forum members car) and it looked a stunning colour, better than MO in my opinion.

Get the roof painted black, it really sets off the VO.

My initial choice was white but the wife really wanted VO. Very happy with the result and glad I listened to her.
