I can't believe this is going to actually be sold in the open market and not repaired in woking. It looks like it needs a lot of parts but it is not beyond repair. The guy must not have had insurance. eekkkkk
If it is that car, maybe MAXANEDDY can shed some light as a member he crashed it that day.it was a dealership car that they had lent him as his car was delayed,so it would seem strange that the dealership would half fix it ,then put it on the market !!!.Seems more to it than that????
Are we sure those are the same cars? If you look at the car on the track, the front crossmember is severely off-level (meaning the front subframes likely need to be replaced). I don't see why you'd fix it part-way (fixing the subframes but not the bodywork/boot trim)? They did the expensive part and left the cheaper stuff?
I compared the car in the photos with the one in this video and every other thing I can see about them is identical. There's a quick glimpse at the interior about 15 seconds in that also matches the photos. Unfortunately the actual crash video has since been removed from YouTube.
Someone pointed out yesterday that the one that crashed at Spa had more damage to the front structure but since all the dealers have every part I'd assume it wasn't difficult to do that portion of the repair.
I don't believe the story. Where is the link to a listing showing the car for sale? Seriously, that isn't 70K of damage in the first photo of the original link posted.
