With the Senna being at the end of its production run plus the 75 GTRs and all 106 Speedtails sold and possibly finished in the next 18-24 months the question arises what will be next in the ultimate series ? Any ideas ?
A P1 v2 was mentioned but only at the end of the Track25 business plan (which than would likely be a 2024 premier and 2025 release - so its 5-6 years out still) ...

Every wild speculation is welcomed here how McLaren will fill those 2-3 years without ultimate series product ...

765LT coupe & Spider. GT production. Plus new Sports Series.

They will have their hands full.
but all of these will generate much less income per unit produced than ultimate series products ... best one is the 765LT which is likely to generate about 70-90k (20% of its pre VAT price) income per unit ... but that is certainly nowhere near the 200-500k/per unit they likely make of cars like the Senna/P1/Speedtail ... however they want and need to grow financially too so there must be sth to fill that gap before the P1 V2 in 2024-2025

Has the designation been confirmed as 765 for the LT model?
No 750 755 760 765 770 775 are all possible I guess, if not already taken by other brands or other plans for future McLaren models ... my dealer currently calls is 750LT ... However I would find 750 a bit strange bc of 650s - 750LT ... also would think the hp bump might be more than just 30hp bc they already had 30 on the 600LT

I am quiet sure there won't be a noticeable gap in power output ... however McLaren would NEVER admit, if they more less use the identical engine in 720s/7XXLT and Senna and only change the mapping a bit and some cosmetic parts ...

Agreed. 789LT was not intended as a likely guess, more a fun extension to your series of LT numbers.
Wonder how close to Senna weight the 7XXLT will be?

If the LT really is 100kg lighter than the regular 720s, that is what Flewitt said they aim for, it would be in fact lighter than the weighted Senna (not the claimed weight) ...

Current 720s on the scale was 1417 kg and 1424 kg by two magazines ... Senna was sth like 1374 kg (car and driver) ... (claimed Senna weight is 1273 kg to my knowledge)

Sadly, Senna is closer to $700k depending how much MSO stuff is specced on the car. A lot of tech and components are shared with super series which brought their manufacturing costs down significantly. Believe me when i tell you...they are definitely growing financially

Well but to my knowledge the MSO stuff has the highest margin so that is quiet good for them ... I am not one of those ppl saying McLaren is screwing us with the prices, Bc in my opinion there is no benefit if they make the cars significantly cheaper but don’t survive the next decade bc. of bad financials ... however I think should def. do sth like Ferrari to include a 5-7y maintenance package with cars at this price lvl. ...
