Anybody come across reasonably priced insurance including Official Track Day's or track day only?

Anybody recommend insurance company at sensible prices?

I've never found insurance that covers both here in the States, at a reasonable rate. In the past, I've had to buy track-day specific insurance, at $1500-2500/event. DEFINITELY worth it. I had a fool in a Merc black series plow my LP560 into a barrier at Thunderhill, cracked the frame and totaled. The on-track ins company had a check to me by the end of the week for the full appraised value of the car (which was in fact more than I'd paid for the car and the insurance combined!).

I have now found one broker who includes Mclaren track days, they will launch a programme in 2012, but yet to see their quote.

Hi Roundcircles, I am just starting to think about insurance and wondered if any progress has been made with the broker you mentioned in your quote. Car is still a few months away but trying to get everything lined up well in advance:confused:
