Great gathering! Don't think I've ever seen that many 12Cs together at once. Looks like a great time.
Hey guys, how many cars?

Looks like a great turnout and the weather stayed dry!
Anyone else from the club on here??? Great turnout :)
Unfortunately I was in the Maldives last weekend :(

Could have resulted in extreme violence or a divorce from the wife if I'd tried to reschedule :D

No sympathy Jerry ;),the Maldives gets it everytime for me!! No stop off in Dubai this time as we have a direct flight, hope you didnt get too much rain at this time of year? At least its warm when it does:D
Yeah, didn't really expect any sympathy :)

The usual rainy season showers but it tends not to bother you if you're in paradise :D
Wow, what a feast for the eyes. Glad to see mid-east McLaren enthusiasts embracing the current offering...
I'd guess that there are maybe 40 something cars on the roads here in the UAE, not bad for what is not yet a full year of deliveries. We do love our sports cars in this part of the world!

How do you think the spider will do Jerry?? I hear droptops are not too popular because of the heat???
I personally wouldn't buy the Spider but I reckon they'll take the bulk of the sales going forward. Heat is an issue but only for 3 or 4 months of the year, the winter months here (say Nov to Mar) are comparable to the most perfect European summer day you could imagine .... so ideal for Spider ownership. The constant sand in the atmosphere would become the biggest gripe for me and the interior would be impossible to keep clean (I'm fussy about such things).

With the quality of the 12C's air con and the folding hard top, you'd survive the summer months without ever even thinking you we're in a Spider.
