K4c3y, - best bit of track vid I've yet seen. That Porsche about 1/3 in, nearly destroyed himself trying in vain to keep ahead, and you clearly were not really trying (from the engine note). You were fortunate getting to use the whole track. I went to Silverstone last year with my supercharged (510 BHP) Jag. It was far too heavy to get round the bends. It was an EVO Mag. track day. The instructor tried to get me to go flat through Woodcote, and grabbed the wheel whilst I was driving, to force me to run high over the kerbs through Maggots and Becketts, but we only had the short club circuit. Chris Harris had another Jag xkr there and stripped the tyres after 2 laps. My brakes boiled after 3 laps with the instructor, and failed entirely. Such a degree of fade I have never experienced before. Your laps on the video appear just a cruise, and you are simply fling past virtually everyone on track. Can't wait to have a go in my 12c in September.

can you give me a on screen time where the “ porsche nearly destroyed itself ? “. All I saw was a car that was off line and going to come in anyway because its tyres were hot stay out when he saw his mate in the mclaren come up behind him and have a play . At no way did I nearly destroy my car are you watching the right video ?
fwiw rs was glued to the bumper of the mac the whole session ( with 100 bhp less ) until i got bye on the right ( yes I had to “ cheat " ) . we were confused and put it down to the macs tyres being worn as it seemed faster than that at spa . Not trying ? It was murder on the dance floor mate can’t you hear the tyre squeal ?
Kc and I never “ not try “ when we come against each other, he is one of a few drivers i can have a good session with and i know I’m in good hands whatever we do .

I think he meant the bottom clenching moment at 3.12, im not a good enough driver to not have a cold flush in that manouver,im sure its a breeze though with plenty of track time under your belt
Im sure Mark thought it was another driver in the GT3 and not yourself,so no offense was intended???
