ive had a good quote for my car for regular use,but as for additional trackday
use because of the car value im getting quoted £1000 per day.
anyone know of anything more reasonable???

no real help from me. In the US there really isnt a reasonable market for track insurance. i assume you tried adrian flux? or just drive really slow

Andy, try Locktons ask for Claire, they offer track cover to Ferrari Owners club track days and Aston Martin under written by Chubb so may be able to help. Their premiums are usually very competitive. Don't understand insurance companies re track days, all set a 10% market value as excess so it has to be a good smack to be worth a claim and most drivers are there for a little fun and want to dive the car home in the same shape as it arrived. In all the years I have been tracking cars I have only ever seen a handful of owner driver cars badly smacked.

Thanks for the info Chris i will give her a ring,annoying if chubb are underwriting it,as im with chubb masterpiece and they dont want to know,so my quote was with a specialist with 10k excess
