It looks great, thanks for sharing. Is this at Pebble Beach?
From that bit, I can tell the new wheels look sweet!!
How did the new leather look?. Is the red under the perforations really noticeable? Do you have a better shot of those wheels?
lookin' good! we need more pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New leather looked great. Not one person I spoke to liked the new wheels though. The word everyone used was "flower".
Any photos of the wheels?
Sorry but those cut lines on the roof just looks out of place......UGLY!
Woking boys should have found a way to do a two piece design ala SSR without needing those HUGE double buttresses:eek:.........should have had a major advantage over the italia spider with that CF tub and not need to incorporate buttress design. just doesn't look good plain and simple:rolleyes:
Here are the wheels.....not so good.
McLaren really has a hard time with wheels IMO. I have come to like the superlight upgraded one's though. Those are hideous. Might look good on that new concept 1 off vehicle. Never been a fan of the "Diamond Cut" wheels, unless on a silver, maybe black car, or the one's on the Ferrari California. Might look ok with stealth finish, would have to see.

Looks like they still can't match the seat stitching to the dash stitching. Piping is not a replacement, but they seem to think so. The mesh fabric is basically stolen from the Scuderia and 16M seats.

That would look good on a BEETLE ......WTF!

I don't get it.....even the Abarth can match the stitching:eek:

Now that you mention it, Cauley Ferrari had an italia spider.......impeccable stitching/alcantera/CF interior with gorgeous sport seat (best in the market:eek:). everything matched to perfection even the custom luggage;)

Really no excuse for this. Heard it is because of the seat supplier. Really no excuse for this lack of detail, MSO my ass, this should be standard. They also need full cf race seats, not those cheesy cf back plates. Porsche and Ferrari both have cf race seats, McLaren should also have them.

Dude, you're back to hating? There is one red interior and 2-3 red exteriors if you count the customs. The orange interior work matches McLaren orange not the volcano but people still get it. This car is so much trouble for you, it's like a love-hate relationship. You have to decide. You're going to get an ulcer. In my mind all judgements have to be done first hand. All of my zeal comes from seeing and driving these cars in the flesh. NO post or IPhone shot is ever going to affect me.

Can't get an ulcer from typing. :) What is the big deal with expecting a dual colored stich pattern on the seats? How about the headrest emblem in special stich colors which is currently not allowed. You are going to get an ulcer defending something that cannot be defended.
Overall the car was beautiful! The top mechanism is incredible and superior to Ferrari.

Yes the wheels and seats were not the best but I have seen (and ordered) incredible interiors for the MP4-12C so I would reserve judgment on the interior.
