I was trying to attract the attention of a friend the other day so gently sounded the horn, which worked but my friend just laughed at my 'pathetic' warning device. I had thought it didn't sound great from within the cabin actually so I put him in the car and listened from the outside. Oh dear, it is pathetic! Just a 'parp parp' more befitting of Morris Minor, not a supercar.

I've searched the forum, can't find much about it (obviously, you might say!) apart from a mention that it should be a two tone horn. Now I'm wondering if mine is partly broken and only the high tone is working.

Anyone else noticed any parping?

Flaming anticipated and accepted! Thanks.

It is subject to an upgrade......it's bloody hopeless in the early cars.......fitting a 458 horn, I understand,

My car goes in next week for a horn fix.

Many new high end cars face the same odd dilemma. Older Ferrari and Lamborghini ran air horns that sounded great, but the new models have terrible sounding electronic horns.
