After much anticipation the truck arrived at 9 a.m. - signed the papers and off to work it went.

The radar was brilliantly installed and the car looked showroom new - LF did a wonderful job.

Car drives and feel as expected - may have to switch to manual seats to gain an extra inch or two but it's certainly fine as is. Besides that it's sight lines are fantastic as is everything else.

Exhaust sounds are awesome - no idea where people feel it's nothing short of spectacular with the sport exhaust.

Here are a few quick iphone shots and the wife thinks it's for her

Fire Black - Elite Paint

Thanks Gents!

After driving the 16M the past few days I have a strong sense of contrast between the two cars.

Took the Mac out for a spin and it's truly a reflection of Mclarens factory deep heritage as is the 16M for Ferrari.

Two completely different cars and that's a good thing.

One does it all in the guise of a Brioni Tuxedo and the other does it dirty loud and proud.

Mac's steering feel and response is incredible - pointing and shooting out of corners it's blinding fast.

Mclaren's build quality to it's driver interactions are nothing short of spectacular.

I highly recommend if one has the means to get their hands on a Mac ;)

Yes that's just what we need positive feedback, which will translate hopefully into increased values on these beautiful babies. Once again congrats Champagne612 and keep us proud with your positive remarks. Cheers.....??

Are some of you guys located in states where a radar detector is illegal ?? Is that why you have these surreptitious systems ?
Some states - yes here in Missouri they are legal.

Mounting these systems is tricky - especially with the CF tub.

I am big fan of modifications but only if the appearance and workmanship are 100%.

Passport only because it's also on the 16M>

Took it to a party last night then out for a quick late night drink - the crowd around the car all last night was impressive!

Filled the tank this morning before breakfast. :)

It's been waiting for me out front for almost 30 minutes - I'm outta here :p

Drove 30 miles in the rain yesterday.

The Mac performed as if it were dry - the defrosters / mono wiper worked with perfection.

Being a skeptic of Pirelli's I never felt any confidence in the 16M or the 612 but yesterday was a treat.

Letting go of the Bentley days like yesterday worried me - no more worries the thing is just glorious.

When I got out the water traveled off the car like there was a guttering system along the door openings vs the typical water stains you receive when exiting a car.

The thing just gets better and better!

That's a fun car to wash isn't it. Really need to blow out a ton of areas front and rear with air.
