firstly the exhaust,mr metcalfe is correct WOW!just in track ,but no problem for the road,so loud you have to shout in the cabin, but a good loud, seems to be 50% louder than before, sends a tingle down your back,so will have to keep it in this mode for DDfor me.
steering, very precise, not sure if the rack has quickened, but the feel is sublime.
paddle shift is now just right for me,no problem using the back of the hand to change up or down if the steering is on lock.
first time driving quick on the road,it makes my turbo look like a hot hatch.
Went down in my wifes conti gt,and i must say the ride in N/N,is only 10% away on the motorway.
a quick video of the sound is on youtube andyc1886,video2,but its a cheap camera, its alot louder than that

notice when it brakes (iron) there is no drama,or squirreling and also no diving,as you can see the car was doing several figures.the blip down the box is good, but it will never be as good as a n/a,but no-one can expect that

I assume that is on track mode. What about on other modes and on low RPM. The 458 is very quiet below 3k RPM
on normal its a nice DD,sound in the background,on sport ,i would say its like it originally was on track, and on track very emotional.
not noisy at all below 3000
I would say from what i have heard of the 458,the new 12c sound builds up more evenly to its peak, and probably easier to live with in the long run as a DD.
cka, when you listen to the 12c ,how do you think the progression of the sound up the rev range compares to your 458??

We have no test drive car in Asia yet. Probably Oct or Nov. You guys are lucky to be able to test drive it. Only a handful of cars will arrive b4 the end of this year. My car is scheduled for completion on wk 44.

there is no differences when you are outside of ther car

i mean, no change to the exhaust, just the opening of duct inside the car , right ?
Thats true, but i dont want to bring too much attention to myself anyway.
If you want to start the car to impress, there is a quick sequence of buttons you now press, before the start button,to get the full force of the igntion.
Sounds great, but after showing your friends you would use it as often as the launch button!!!

so we can say that they improved the whole "engine emotion noise" of the car ?

inside and outside ?

(i took the sport exhaust, i think it's too late to change...)
Totally,i think the sport will be fantastic,i specced it first, but had to be practical as im using my car daily. As for Italian passion and turbo cars, please can someone agree with me that the 12c sounds better than the new Pangani
(a stunning piece of art) evo mag video. How will you ever live with that ???

DITTO on the Pagani Huayra.........STUNNING build:eek:........but that turbo 'whine' would drive me bonkers after a while:eek:.........12C way better sounding by far........tho F40 had the best biturbo note......that was then, this is now......will see what the SSC Tuatara (what's up with the exotic names all of a sudden) brings;)
