pretty sure all the dealers have given test drives to the depositors,so i would think if you can prove you have the ability to buy, then setting a test up shouldnt be too difficult, after all they have the time at the moment, but get in quick as they will be swamped with deliveries in a couple of weeks.I know they are already checking their lists and prompting imminant customers, there are probably over 200 cars awaiting delivery world wide and a logistical nightmare ,everything should settle down again by the end of december, but not the best time for a test driveAre any of the dealers giving test drives in the UK yet?
If so, how do you set one up?
+1Hope I don't sound too grovelly, but nothing but praise for my dealer experience thus far and can’t see it changing, once I am "eventually" an actual customer or for any potential new owners.
Which dealer?Hope I don't sound too grovelly, but nothing but praise for my dealer experience thus far and can’t see it changing, once I am "eventually" an actual customer or for any potential new owners.
Much appreciated. As I am just around the corner from Woking, I will try my luck with McLaren London/Alistair first. If a no-go, then will give David a call in Birmingham.Hi Boxer
David Tibbetts at McLaren Birmingham.
Tel: 01564 787170
Give him a ring and I am more than sure he would be happy to sort out a test drive.
He does frequent this forum and so should be familiar with you.
Any problems PM me and I will be happy to contact him on your behalf.
Boxer I would just give David a call no need to try your luck with London, 1st class customer service and he is normally down the Woking area.Much appreciated. I think US dealers will get the demo cars before the end of the month !! keep on your sales guyI'm so jealous of you Britts... Not only have I not driven my future car; I haven't even seen one in person!!! Some of you already have your cars!
That's what I get for living in Texas...
