$14K for a Taq? What movment does it have? Is it COSC certified? Sorry I have a hard time paying that much for a Tag(And I wear a Tag Carrera as my daily wear watch).

I wouldnt mind one,but it would have to be someone else treating me:)Then again i would go for a retro fit of the CF brakes
I've been quoted £15k for CF brake conversion so the watch is a bargain and my brakes performance has improved.

I know one owner who has one.

Then his son found a replica online for $120. Looks pretty good for less than 1% of the price.

I'll bet that you can already buy one at the Silk Market in Beijing for $25!

I've had one for around 6 months now - well in advance of the car arriving!

I am pleased with the design and build quality (for a TAG Heuer), although the strap adjustment approach on the deployment clasp could be better as it tends to loosen and need readjustment regularly.

The design clearly follows the style of Richard Mille in a few areas such as the semi-skeleton face design with a secondary inner saphire crystal, dual-wheel big date at 12 o'clock and a near unreadable month wheel for the annual calandar mechanism at 4 o'clock. The movement and features are particularly similar to the RM 011, which is another of the watches I regularly wear.

Still, I think it is well styled and executed and also compliments the orange stitching I specified inside the car (at the risk of making you look a bit of a 'tart').

I'll almost certainly be wearing it to the Meridian Oxford gathering if any UK owners there are interested is seeing how it looks in the field.
