I am new here & in the market to purchase a Mclaren coupe and one particular model for sale does not have the sports exhaust. Could the dealer actually add it on to the vehicle?

Yes he could, but would be better to find a car with the Sports Exhaust to save some money.

Do a deal if the rest of the spec is what you want,its not a major job and they are currently offering MSO items at discounted prices to anyone who buys an approved secondhand 12c ,so why not the exhaust if thats what you want

Slightly different sound. A bit louder, raspier. A bit lighter weight. Made out of Inconel.

You could also evaluate an aftermarket exhaust from Fabspeed or Larini. It'll probably be less expensive and with smaller cell cats than the stock ones
