Hey fellas,

I was thinking we should get current SoCal McLaren owners and others that have their 12C's on order together for a meet and greet. It will be a great chance for current owners to share their views on their cars and soon-to-be owners to ask questions. I was thinking of doing something perhaps on a Saturday night over an informal dinner. It will be a great to put some screen names and faces together. If people close to SoCal (NorCal, Vegas, Arizona) wants to come down for this event you are of course more than welcome to. So I was thinking of doing this sometime mid-June. This should give us sufficient time to plan this whole thing out. I'm going to invite my dealer (McLaren Newport Beach) to this dinner and hopefully they can give us some "inside news" to the McLaren brand.

Here are a few locations I have in mind.

Javier's @ Crystal Cove - Plenty of parking, great food and location. (Halfway point between people from LA and San Diego)

1912 @ Beverly Hills Hotel - I have a great relationship with the hotel and I can get the front row parking reserved for everyone that's coming. 1912 is more casual and have a great outdoor section where we can grab a few drinks, smoke some cigars and enjoy the great weather.

Ago @ Melrose/La Cienega - Discreet and great Italian food. This little gem is hidden right on the corner of Melrose and La Cienega. I can also get the front parking spots reserved for our group.

Ritz Carlton @ Laguna Niguel - Tons of parking, killer view, discreet, great food and halfway meeting point for LA and San Diego peeps.

I don't necessarily fall into either group you have mentioned but would enjoy attending if permitted, and of course date and time dependent against other commitments.
