He collected the insurance. Let him bear the cost if he took the option to retain the car from the insurance company. Why should McLaren pay when they are having trouble keeping the lights on?
No one else was willing to take on the rebuild. Not even LNC Collision. Tavarish was the only person who took on the challenge to rebuild the 675LT. Otherwise, the car would have eventually be sold for scrap. Why would that at all benefit the brand? The 675 he rebuilt was subpar as far as work quality goes
And what @tozzy234 is saying is that the work he did was sub-par.No one else was willing to take on the rebuild. Not even LNC Collision. Tavarish was the only person who took on the challenge to rebuild the 675LT. Otherwise, the car would have eventually be sold for scrap.
Tavarish never claimed to be a certified master mechanic. The 675LT he rebuilt is the best sub-par example to date. And what @tozzy234 is saying is that the work he did was sub-par.
Jesus man I hope he at least bought you some knee pads so you dont get bruises.Tavarish never claimed to be a certified master mechanic. The 675LT he rebuilt is the best sub-par example to date.
Whether they're involved or not, it's free marketing. Him saying McLaren helped doesn't make more eyes on it or the brand.Free marketing that would bring more customers to Mclaren Automotive.
Is that based on not working on it, not seeing it, or you yourself rebuilding one to factory fresh condition? Why would that at all benefit the brand? The 675 he rebuilt was subpar as far as work quality goes
Plot twist, few parts will end up coming from McLaren themselves. They will be .. they'll sell them parts at the same, sky-high, prices that they charge everyone else!
This is very very very wrong. Subscriber count has zero relationship to revenue. There are several factors and I'll cite some examples. One of my channels now has 35k subscribers and made $2,850 last year. There was a time where around 32k subscribers made $1,200+ a month. The other channel has under 2,900 subscribers and made $622 last year. One channel makes 8 cents per sub, the other 21 cents per sub (fewer subs made more money per sub). Huge spread showing it doesn't matter. Even using the 21 cents per sub number that 2.24 mil number would yield $470k.Tavarish has 2.26 million viewers! That means he earns approximately 2+ million dollars a year just from YouTube. Basically he could spend 2 million dollars on repairs and still break even on this repair.
Seeing the car at SEMA isn't a good judge of anything beyond body work. That car has better paint and better panel fitment than many McLarens from the factory. I'd like to know specifically what aspects you feel are "sub-par". I know the car quite well, things that were and weren't on video.@EMF Audio (McMedics) thats based on me watching the videos, knowing other techs that have seen the car and also having had rebuilt more than a dozen Mclarens in similar condition.
Sorry to be off topic. Did you get to see Tavarish 675LT recently? If so, did Tavarish repair the damage to the front bumper underside from the Car Trek accident? Just wondering.Seeing the car at SEMA isn't a good judge of anything beyond body work. That car has better paint and better panel fitment than many McLarens from the factory. I was in it Wednesday. Hasn't repaired, no reason to really. Any car driven has scrapes there and you don't see them normally.Sorry to be off topic. Did you get to see Tavarish 675LT recently? But never both in the same shot!😂I think it's safe to say Tavarish does own the car and we all know the only reason buying this car would be to bring it back to life... So 2023 should be an interesting year to watch the rebirth of a P1 unfold on YouTube....
Might even see both of your favorite McMedics getting involved along the way!
