I've heard from an owner here in the US with 9000+ miles (!) that the first service, which they just had done, cost USD 1400. Is this possible. It seems, well, far too reasonable.

Well they only did that when they knew the 12c was coming out Bruce,or did someone brush off the cobwebs off the customer relations department (sorry how stupid,they never actually had one)
