It's posts like this that remind me to think again every time I wonder about moving back to civilization.
Replacing 720s Fender / Wings
Eventually my 2019 720s has succumbed to corrosion on the front wings.
In any event McLaren have agreed to replace rather than repair .
This got me thinking about rather than go for the aluminium OEM fenders an upgrade would be the carbon louvred vented ones fitted on the Apex or Le Mans 720( maybe not in US ) and on the 765LT
So does anyone know if the whole Fender is Carbon as my dealer seems to think or just the Vents.

I think the last time i saw corrosion on a car was in the 1980's.
your dealer has 100% correct information.
The fenders are 100% dry carbonfiber inside and out from OEM
On top of that, 720s coupe and spider have different fender designs completely and are not interchangeable. If you are upgrading to the MSO fenders, ensure you order the correct ones.

Cheers, but Actually what he said was, the stock OEM 720s fenders are Aluminium.
The Special edition Apex/Le Mans 720s has the carbon louvres like the 765Lt fitted and it is these that are full carbon. Are these MSO ?
The cost is free to go with the OEM fenders but over £10,000 to upgrade to the louvred ones
