I test drove a Cayman R yesterday, 300 miles of fun, and it is a great Porsche - steering,engine, flappy gearbox and noise but it made me realise why I want the Mclaren.

But the Mac has - Steering, power delivery, lower seat and wide vision, vastly superior ride quality, design drama and surprisingly, roughly, the same fuel mpg.

However I could buy 4 Cayman S for the price of the Mac......but I only want one car.

Test ride a Cayman S, have brilliant fun and realise why you want a Mac.

Test drove same porsche........now that car was fun........great sound!

For $85K, fully loaded, the R is hard to beat.

Gotta love being in a position to have both, and more (I'm dying to see the 991 TurboS and the Lambo Cabrera).
