Has anyone installed the Escort 9500ci?
If so what are your thoughts on its performance versus an Escort window mount.
Thanks
Steve:)

Zorro212 you need to PM Champagne612, I'm under the impression he's got one of those babies installed in his car. Cheers....??

I had one installed with the iPhone Bluetooth escort live module. It's bad ass. Tells you the photo radar and red light camera areas and I had the jammers installed so you could not see them. Over all very pleased.

I have it on two cars, including 12c. Personally I find it useless. It didn't even detect an active speed limit sign until I was 30 ft in front of it. I wouldn't buy it again. Indeed with my new font bumper bing installed on the 12c I told the dealer to delete the Escort if they couldn't find a way to route the wires without drilling holes.

My friend has the mounted version. Pluses are its cheaper. Portable to other cars. I have the ci version. Pluses are it's got way more range, it's stealth (meaning radar detectors cannot detect it) and, importantly, has laser jammers. If laser is used in your state, this is a huge difference. Another plus, is no cable, mount/unmount hassle.

Both are great with the automatic GPS lock out of falses. I cannot fathom ever going back to a system that doesnt have this. When I get a signal, it's almost always real.
