R.I.P. Dan Wheldon

Such a tragedy, Thoughts go out to all his loved ones.
I had just finished reading an interview with him Motor Sport, seemed like a young man who had his head firmly on his shoulders, a great loss to all of motorsport

It IS tragic, because (IMHO) it was very avoidable. There were just too many cars on the track. Watching the wreck is like watching Indy 1972 (if all the accidents happened at once).

So sorry to lose another; I just think when there's so much traffic they wind up "4-wide" they need to rethink it.

Race in Peace, Dan.

Dan will certainly be missed.

Making me think twice about my roval race at LVMS in two weeks. I need to add his name to the car to watch over things.

And so motorsport loses another great talent in this horrible week...

I saw that crash too, just horrible. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family
