My 720s has a CEL with the display requesting to take it to a McLaren service center. I bought an OBDII scanner from Amazon and it’s showing a permanent code of P2179. As such, I’m unable to clear it.
Has anybody dealt with this on the 720s platform? Can the factory turbo inlets be at fault here? I did have an aftermarket exhaust installed roughly 2000 miles ago (just cat back, not downpipes), and the CEL just popped up. If turbo inlets could be at fault, would prefer to have them in hand before I bring to my mechanic rather than leaving the car disassembled while trying to source them.
Anything other common problems or things worth checking here?
Thanks guys!
