Okay to drive in high humidity?

Might be a silly question, but not sure how it would affect the car. Not worried about it with a toyota rav4 but curious if I should avoid driving in like 90% humidity in temps around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Try living in a place with temperature swings of -10F to 110F, sometimes dry, and sometimes 95% RH.

You’ll be fine.

The car will be fine. Make sure you have tires appropriate for the temperature and road conditions . 60F and some dampness is serious lolz on the stock 765 trofeos. And by lolz I mean other people lolz’ing at your misfortune. The P zeros are fine. I drive in the rain at colder temps.

I did a high pressure gas main welding job on top of a highrise a few years back during the summer… Was 95° and 85%+ humidity every day. It was brutal.

The car will be fine......the worst part about living in Florida is the 90-95% humidity and temps hanging around 95+ degrees for 7-8 months a year. That and the traffic! 🤬
Humidity is so bad that you literally are sweating your ass off just walking from your car in a parking lot to a store, or theater, restaurant, etc. Lord help ya if you have to wait outside to be seated!

Agree with @Topcarbon - it's very IRRITATING!

the A/C works harder to keep up with the conditions.

IF it's a 12C, I think the headlights will curse you ....
I THINK they get more moldy, faster, in humid environments.
The American Southeast is basically 70% or higher humidity year round, and odds are if it's raining it's 100% humidity no matter where you are.

So you won't be coming to visit this summer?

I've found this problem in EVERY environment, humid or not. The least I've seen it effected is spending it's entire life in Montana. SoCal seems to be a bit of a slower pace and it can be humid there. There may be a correlation to how much time in the sun the headlights spend or not though, UV intensity and whatnot.
Yeah not sure what the exact cayalyst is, if any. I just remember when my headlights were always clear! Then once brought my car to McLaren Dallas for a one-day fixer, parts I asked them to have on hand 30 days in advance, to no avail, and car ended up being there appr. 2-3 weeks. I keep it in an insulated garage; they obviously stored the vehicle outside. Thereafter, the mold began!
