i would be more concerned about the functionality of the bumper as most of the aero pieces from mclaren are functional to aerodynamics. If it works then that would be a plus... last thing you want is an aero that deviates from the car's lines and raison d'etre...

I do not see anything wrong with the face of the car as it was originally designed. Why the rice-job?
Respectfully .... why does the company feel the need to change it to satisfy all the amateur automotive designers out there ?
(What's next: following the Lotus path, and bringing rapper Swiss Beatz on board as a creative designer, :D)

why buy an aftermarket rep' when its clearly a rip-off of the actual genuine HS bumper?
because some might not justify 30k for a bumper... ;) Initially, I didnt like the stock front either. But seeing it everyday in the garage, that bumper has grown on me.. it somehow is coherent to the cars lines... the hs bumper makes the car more aggressive... but somehow the bumper almost just sticks out on its own instead of blending with the rest of the body work... just my 2 cents...

Point taken, I can't live knowing its not genuine though, I blame Ron Dennis for this OCD problem.. especially on a McLaren, quality and fitment looks good and tight though.

This 'new' MSO front bumper option, to my eye, looks too "cottage industry made". The same, I would say, about the MSO fender louvres option ... they look like something out of a J.C. Whitney catalog .... they should have done them along the lines of the MP4-12C GT3's fender louvres (which are much more integrated looking; rather than some glued on to the fender, lumps):p. I'm surprised; it seems like a rushed project.:(
