NEED HELP WITH A BUNCH OF CODES: P0300, P0302, P0303, P0305, P0306, P0307, P0308

This is what I was told from the shop? Anyone else have this issue?

VERIFIED CUSTOMER COMPLAINT UPON VEHICLE ARRIVAL
SCAN ENGINE CONTROL MODULE FOR STORED FAULT CODES AND FOUND (P0011) CLEAR STORED FAULT CODE AND TEST DRIVE (FAULT CODE REOCCURS UPON STARTUP AND SHORT TEST DRIVE) VIEW LIVE DATA FOR INTAKE AND EXHAUST CAMSHAFT POSITIONS COMPARED TO COMMANDED POSITIONS AND FOUND BANK 1 INTAKE CAMSHAFT POSITION DOES NOT MATCH COMMANDED POSITION WHICH INDICATES CAMSHAFT TIMING PROBLEM (SUSPECT BANK 1 CAMSHAFT VARIATOR IS FAULTY) RECOMMEND REMOVAL OF ENGINE FOR DISASSEMBLY AND FURTHER INSPECTION OF TIMING CHAIN SYTEM (EXPECTING BANK 1 AND BANK 2 INTAKE CAMSHAFT VARIATORS WILL NEED REPLACEMENT) ADVISE CLIENT TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT WITH MCLAREN OF WALNUT CREEK OR MCLAREN SAN FRANCISCO FOR FURTHER REPAIR


Anyone who has dealt with this, would be a great help. I know it will have to be taken to a dealership, but wanted to see what I can expect when doing so. TIA

I'll be in California this week, as I am many weeks, because we travel to work on cars. I primarily work in an area with 4 dealerships within 2 hrs drive, and I have no shortage of work.

Those codes indicate misfires on both banks, it would be odd to have cam phasers on both sides bad unless this was something ongoing and undiagnosed. That being said, what year car is it?
