Can't wait! Azure blue, black lightweight wheels, lots of carbon including mirror stalks, and chocolate+saddle tan interior.

I recall a thread about protective film... What areas beyond the front bumper and hood are people doing? I think door rocker panels?

My dealer mentioned skid plates under the bumpers... Anyone do this?

I have an escort 9500ci being installed with the display integrated into the rear view mirror. Any other suggestions of things to get done? GPS perhaps? :p

Do the full clear bra Alessandro recommends - and the skid plates. They look good.

Can't wait to see your car! Been dying to see an Azure Blue in person.

Yes I believe it is something the dealer created.

Nicely done, but kind of expensive at $750 for some nondescript plastic and bolts that really don't do anything.

I figure if I do end up scratching the bottom of the bumper I can always add them on to cover up the scratches!

Yeah... that's what I'm doing.

And yeah, they are through the dealer - I know McLaren Newport Beach and McLarenSF carry them. Be cautious though, I met the guy who made them last week... and he drives a Ferrari...

I'm considering making my own in Ti - just for the extra fun factor. That and I have a laser cutter and titanium handy.

Where exactly are the skid plates on the car?? I can't identify where they are fixed
Chris, they are on the underside of the painted part of your bumper, starting from the edge of the splitter and going backwards inline with the car,a good idea as i have already scratted this part.Maybe i can get HYPER to make me a set in Ti when he makes a pattern?????:D

Wtdoom: 62KG for a Ridgeback is huge! I'd love to see that guy!

I actually have two Ridgebacks, but they are about 100lb. The avatar picture is when the younger one was 3 months old.

To keep this somewhat on-topic (of at least cars), he is responsible for chewing the leather off the steering wheel of my first Cayenne Turbo. I would have loved to have to seen the expression of a passerby witnessing this happen!
