1 smoother ride
2 better gearbox
3 more comfortable driving position
4 Awesome power delivery feels more than 458 not statistical just feel
5 Noise in sport and track very exhilarating but not quite as sensuous as 458
6 Quality of build is similar both are very good
7 Customer care - well the day after delivery Antony Sheriff bothered to ring me and ask if i was happy, says it all really
8 Sensibly influenced tech stuff from benz eg drivers seat retracts to most aft position when door is opened, has a speed limiter which in UK may help my licence with idiot av speed cameras. Passenger seat will allow child in a car seat or bumper seat turning off air bag and confirming this in the warning lights and as standard f provides belt locking system

Cabin lacks storage space Mrs Bruce a little distressed

Just a quick update for you

There is turbo lag if you accelerate from low revs where the turbos are not spooled up (est <2500 rpm) however the lag is much less prominent than a 997 turbo. Power delivery is very impressive even off boost.

During anything resembling spirited driving you're always on boost and there is no perceptible lag.
I am really not sure if a bit of lag is a good thing or not. One of the things I really enjoy about the F40 is that huge shot of power you get when the twin turbos spin up.

Andy you asked earlier in the thread would I swap back to 458 and sorry I missed the question . Honest answer is NO
